Welcome all! First off let me start by saying how grateful I am for all who have been on this journey with me from the beginning… 2020 knocked me on my a** and therefore my excitement to create slowly dwindled away. Now that we are in a new year, new energy, new possibilities, the creative juices are flowing and I wanted to share something with you that got me through some very difficult times this past year. Enter The Confidence Project.

This past year was nucking futs..with all of the uncertainty in the world due to the infamous COVID-19, being furloughed because of that and therefore being forced to be at home all day everyday and still somehow manage to stay sane.. let me just say my confidence was LACKIN’. Even health coaches need coaching! One thing that kept me moving forward was ~virtual~ connection with friends and family. As I was struggling to find my confidence this past year I reached out to a good friend, Jessica, about holding each other accountable in trying to build ourselves back up. I knew that I thrive in community and Jess and I just jive in this area. We live in different states so virtual connection was also a great way to stay in touch. Our path to confidence included friendly check ins, utilizing our 5 minute journals (we both already owned) and reading motivational/empowering books. The check ins made me realize how much I thrive off of human connection. Whenever I was feeling down I would check in, in turn that connection made me feel better! I joked with her about how we should name what we were doing “The Confidence Project” and start a community group to get other women in on the action… one day. I had been searching for this sort of thing for over a year now, and through a friendly interaction I realized the universe had thrown a lightbulb on top of my head and said “ok NOW” as it lit up like crazy! “One day” is now.

The Confidence Project is a virtual way for women, like Jessica and I, to connect, grow and ultimately reclaim our inner goddesses who 2020 (most likely) made us lose sight of. It’s a way for us to remember who we truly are, not who we’ve been told to be or the lies we’ve told ourselves. It’s a safe space for all, because we are all working towards the same goal; to gain confidence in the person we are today, not yesterday or tomorrow, but today. Through this project I will be guiding and joining all of you in the journey to gaining more and more confidence in ourselves, harnessing our inner goddess, kicking a** and taking names! It is past time we take control over our health and wellness, and I am so stoked to help each of you in any way I know how.

Here’s the breakdown:

  1. This Project will start as a 30 day program but will most definitely continue past that time, but I want you to commit 30 days to me and to your growth. This starts once you choose to make the commitment to yourself, but the book club will begin at the beginning of each month. First Confidence Project full month roll out – February 1, 2021!
  2. Follow @cp.x.bwellthywashley on Instagram and join the Confidence Project Goddesses community group on Facebook as well as the Confidence Project page for project updates. Also this site will become a great resource. These platforms will be where the community building happens! We can not grow as human beings without being in community.
  3. Daily gratitude journaling – each day I want you to write the top 5 things you are grateful for that day. Try and focus on things that have happened in the last 24hours. Feel free to share yours on social with #MyConfidenceProject. You can also expect journal prompts throughout the month to help get the creative juices flowin’!
  4. Monthly Empowerment Book Club! – I have always wanted to do a book club, mainly to hold myself accountable to read, but I also see so much value in growing through reading and learning new things. I will pick a book each month that can be easily purchased at any bookstore/online store. With the book club this is where we will utilize the social platforms to connect and discuss! I will post book club thoughts to highlight some of my takeaways from each book.
  5. Self-Empowerment Saturdays – I don’t know about y’all, but I have a really hard time staying on track over the weekends. I wanted to create a time for us to connect virtually via Zoom for our daily dose of exercise to help feel accomplished going into the weekend. Moving our bodies has such a positive impact on our mental health as well as physical. It’s time to find that inner goddess bada**!! I will provide a body weight workout each Saturday that you can then take with you the rest of the week and add in to your routine when you need the boost.
  6. Healthy tips and inspiration posted throughout the week!

Note: If you want to take your journey a little further I will also be offering health coaching 1:1’s, additional written workouts, and the option to add a nutritional 30 Day Challenge through my fave company, Arbonne!

This is just the beginning of something greater. We need to raise our vibration as we go into 2021. We need to shed the negative energy that 2020 laid on top of us. We need to connect, love and be more. I hope you will join me on this journey as we work together to grow, learn and love ourselves a little deeper. You are you, and that’s the best you can be.
