November is here! Which means we are 1 month closer to CHRISTMAS! Yup, that’s all I know you all care about… but hey, there are lots of things to love about the month leading up to Christmas! I for one am excited for November. I can feel this month is going to be a great time for even more personal growth. The holiday craziness hasn’t really kicked in yet, we have a little bit of a limbo period to relax and enjoy this awesome fall (winter?) weather before everything gets nutty, and football season is getting really interesting… (especially if you’re a UGA fan).

November honestly has a lot to live up to after the amazing October I just had. To reflect back on last month’s intentions, community was a huge part of my month. Within Arbonne, I helped so many more people take control of their health and I made it to the first level of management as a District Manager! I felt more connected to people than ever before and I can’t wait to continue that momentum throughout the rest of 2019! I brought my intention of being steady, calm and focused into my day to day actions and I have never felt more in control of myself than I do after this past month.

That being said, going into this new month my goal is to take what I’ve learned and apply it to a few other areas of my life that I feel need some more love and attention. Enter this months intentions!

The first big one for me is seeking to know God. When sitting down and thinking about my intentions for this month, this one was the first one to come to mind. As wedding planning is getting underway and life is getting crazier, I feel myself gravitating towards God and the steadiness He brings. Pat (my fiancé) and I are looking to also get involved in a church and start pre-marital counseling, so seeking to know God is a big one both personally and for our relationship!

The next two that I believe go together are the intention to be mindful in the chaos and to practice yoga once a week. As I said, so many amazing things are happening in my life, and life is beginning to get busier and busier. Busy with great things, but busy none-the-less. So, going into this month I really want to make sure I remain mindful throughout everything we have going on. Growing my yoga practice is also a mindful intention for me as I believe it will be a great way for me to really tap into a different side of fitness, and challenge me mentally and physically.

The next intention I set is to stay true 2 myself. Wedding planning, career changes and growth, this one is a BIG one for me this month. If anyone else has gone through the wedding planning process maybe you can relate to this. As wedding planning kicks off, one thing I inherently begin to worry about is losing myself through it all. There are a lot of decisions that need to be made and a lot of opinions that need to be taken into consideration. I would hate to compromise myself to please others. Same goes for my career. Staying patient, and mindful of where I am looking to go in my career is very important to me, and not compromising my values and priorities throughout it all is something I really want to focus on.

The final intention I set for November is forward not backwards. This November, I want to look ahead, focus on my goals for the remainder of the year and get ready for 2020. 2020, the year I marry my best friend, I run my first half-marathon, I turn 27 and get started in a new career. With so many things to look forward to I would hate to waste too much time looking back, worrying about how things used to be, the way I used to do things and think about things. This month I want to take time to reflect but then move forward and grow even more!

I hope sharing my intentions every month helps some of you get inspired to start your own intentions! They truly help guide you in the direction you want to go in, allowing you to remain mindful throughout everything you do during the month. Let them come from the heart and you will end with a month full of purpose and intent!

I hope you all have a wonderful November!

BWell,

Ashley 🙂
